je ne toucherai en rien à ta traduction Be + ing, car l'action est racontée et non totalement passée
à part Back in his country, (pk of his origins puisque tu as mis back in hIS country) A British Empire's soldier's is writting (un seul t, ou 2 t j'ai un doute je te fais confiance).to his family telling about his feelings..........
