factoriser les expressions :

f(x) = x² - 8x + 7
Δ = b² - 4ac
   =(-8)² - 4 x 7
   =36  = 6²
On a deux racines:
x = [tex] \frac{- b - delta}{2a} [/tex]    ou x =[tex]\frac{-b + delta}{2a} [/tex]
x = [tex] \frac{8 - \sqrt{36} }{2} [/tex]  ou x =[tex] \frac{8 + \sqrt{36} }{2} [/tex]
x =[tex] \frac{8 - 6 }{2} [/tex] ou x =[tex] \frac{8 + 6 }{2} [/tex]
x =1                                        x =7    
On obtient donc f(x)=(x-1)(x-7) où a=1
Soit f(x) = (x - 4)² - 9
f(x) = (x - 4 - 3)(x - 4 + 3)
      =(x - 7)(x - 1)
